Melton Prom

A huge pat on the back for all the children who participated in this magnificent concert at St Mary's Church in Melton last week. We joined forces with Water City Music and seven other local schools to perform for a packed house, singing Zadok the Priest, There's a River, With a Little Help from my Friends and finishing with Jerusalem.

Warning Zone
Fri 20 Mar 2026Y6 joined forces with Y6 children from Hose, Harby and Long Clawson on a trip to Warning Zone in Leicester where we learnt all about managing risk, avoiding danger and staying safe.

Twycross Zoo
Mon 16 Mar 2026Base 2 had a fantastic trip to the zoo and enjoyed seeing a huge range of animals and learning about habitats for their science topic.

Mother's Day
Mon 16 Mar 2026We enjoyed a lovely service in the church to mark Mother's Day, with our flower decorations hanging up and with special songs and poems for all the mums. And our parents continue to astonish us with their baking. Sharlene never fails to impress and her Mother's Day cupcakes for the cake raffle were out of this world! Thank you

Base 2 Habitats
Fri 06 Mar 2026Base 2 have been learning about habitats in Science and were given a project to create a habitat in a box at home. The results were amazing! An incredible array of skill, imagination and attention to detail. We have loved exploring them and learning more today!
