Following on from their visit with a tractor a few weeks ago, representatives from the Young Farmers came to Base 3 today and talked to us about the next chapter in the farming story: 'From Field to Fork'. We found out about the large number of different jobs people do which help turn the farmers' hard work into the food we eat, ranging from nutritionists, to environmental experts, and chefs to marketing managers. They also reminded us that you do not have to be a farmer to join the Young Farmers (which meet in Scalford Village Hall on Tuesday evenings).
